The Quicken technology has been going strong since 1984 with new and improved features for their programs. There is not a lot of information on the beginnings of Quicken or who invented it. It is made by Intuit Inc. and has grown immensely since its beginning. It has evolved from simplistic adding to features to uploading from your personal banking system.

It is used today for many many things. The product has versatility far past simple number crunching. For personal use, you can keep track of transactions, savings, and bill paying. Business can purchase for Quicken for Home & Business to manage income, payments, and invoices. There is also Quicken Online where you can consolidate all accounts, have it safely protected, and have bill reminders and alerts. The software I found amazing was the Quicken for managing rental properties. Who knew they made specialty software for that!?
